In 1991 a group of reenactors came together to form a unit that would represent Battery A of the 4th U.S. Light Artillery.
The  organization currently owns one 3-inch ordinance rifle and limber, which we use at events. Members of our organization
portray both military and civilians from the 19th Century. The military side represents the regular army soldiers of Cushing’s
Battery as they appear in Spring of 1863.  The Civilian side is for those who wish to portray the civilian aspects of people
during the Civil War such as laundresses, soldier’s wives, nurses and refugees.  Our organization is family friendly and we
always welcome visitors to our Camp during events.
